January 7: Fitting; bring your issues and any neat solutions you have found February 4: Lingerie tips, techniques, sources, patterns etc. Karen O. to lead March 4: Expo wrap up, come prepared to share your experience April 1: Serger Embellishment Challenge. Try out those nifty stitches on your serger for embellishing your creation May 6: Physical Therapist will come speak about ergonomics and sewing issues. June 3: Vintage Tea. Wear your best vintage outfit for a get together with your sewing guild friends! Location TBD July 1: Orphan Fabric Exchange & Kumihimo - Robyn S. will be teaching us Kumihimo August 5: Coats! We will start a sew along to get ready for winter - bring possible patterns and fabric for new coat to wear for winter of 2010! September 2: Field Trip. We will arrange a field trip destination TBD; requests have included Billie's Fabrics in Chehallis. October 7: Coats! are they finished, do you need fitting help? Share your trials and tribulations on our coat sew along! Susan also has a number of sewing videos that we can watch as well November 4: Proportions and Colors. We will discuss the various colors and proportions that work best on us and why. December 2: Holiday potluck and Orphan Fabric Exchange show off. |

January 2: Discussion on organizing your sewing area, sewing suppliers,URLs, favorite notions and books. Bring your "challenge" fabric kit to exchange (1/2 yard min of 1 ugly fabric and 2 more fabrics any size) February 6: Learn preventative machine maintenance. Kevin will provide a demo and explain the "must dos" to keep our machines in top condition. Bring your machine to immediately reinforce the skills you learn. March 6: Bring in your favorite sewing or surging foot and samples of what it can do. Got a great sewing tip to share? What's old to you will be new to someone else.
