– our speaker for the Fall Fashion Fling.- I want to make sure you know about this fabulous seminar. Jacque has been in the apparel industry for 25 years, and is now teaching at Seattle Central Community College, Lake Washington Technical College, and Nancy’s Sewing Basket. She is an expert on fitting, and on all the varied aspects of sewing. She recently gave an extremely successful seminar to the Seattle chapter, and I’m sure you will all want to attend this upcoming event. Her subjects will be “ Modern Fit for Casual Style” and “Adapting Vintage and Out-of-print Patterns to Make Stylish, Modern Garments”. More details will be in the next newsletter. This will be another not-to-be-missed event, so mark the date of October 16, 2010 on your calendars. The venue is not finalized yet, but will be in the next newsletter, and though the cost has not been finalized, it will be in the $50-60.00 range. Hoping to see you all there, with a few friends as well. Your Education VP ![]()
